Dieter Roth, "Sugar Tower." My favorite piece in the show, I think.
Dieter Roth, “Sugar Tower,” my favorite piece in the gallery’s inaugural show, “Dieter Roth. Bjorn Roth.” The exhibition tells the story of a 20 year collaboration between father and son. Installation, video, sculpture, painting, printmaking–there was a medium for everyone. Very impressive.

Yesterday Hauser & Wirth hosted a lunch to celebrate the opening of their new 18th Street outpost. And I was there. Woohoo!

That situation above is the first thing you see upon entering. Nice work, Mr. Creed. That totally rocks. 1,000 points to Hauser & Wirth.

Harpa Ziska, a friend of Dieter's grandson, and who is clearly styley beyond belief. If she's at the bar, don't you want to be there too?

Cavernous is the best word to describe the space. Seriously, you could get lost in there. In fact, it’s so big they’re installed a super-cool bar at one end of it (that’s where Harpa is hanging out).

Wills chills with two pieces from Roni Horn's water series. I don't know how to make it clear just how amazing this work is. Just go see it.

Unfortunately, the bar won’t be open to the public, just for openings at the gallery. But who cares when you can see stuff like this?

And there you have it.
